What do I do with my transponder if I sell my vehicle or if I buy a new vehicle?

If you are selling a vehicle equipped with a sticker transponder, you must remove and destroy the transponder before transferring the vehicle to the new owner.

You will need to obtain a new transponder for your new vehicle. Refer to the Rate Schedule section for applicable fees.
